GRANA grain mill is warranted by its manufacturer (SINIMO Industries) against material and manufacturing defects for a period of 2 years (24 Months) from the date of purchase. This includes the motor, body, switch and cable for the said duration.

The warranty applies only for non-commercial use.

The Millstones don’t come under the said warranty. The millstones are warranted for a duration of 6 months from the date of purchase.

The warranty excludes fine cracks in the wood cabinet such as may occur with any genuine wood product and do not influence function, warranty also excludes loss of child parts such as the springs, stone stopper bolt, stone stopper washer round, stone stopper washer rectangle, oil seal and other parts that make up the grinder.

This warranty is rendered null and void by misuse or improper treatment of the equipment by the user (including use of undue force), or opening of the unit’s motor cabinet by the user.

The 2-year warranty is neither extended nor renewed when repairs covered by it are performed. Any parts replaced under warranty are themselves warranted only for the duration, and to the extent, of the mill’s original warranty.

Millable Substances

GRANA stone burr grain mills are designed for use to grind, only the following substances, which must be under 15% (by weight) of water content:

Common dry grains including wheat (either hard or soft types), oat, groats (dehulled oats), non-oily rice, triticale, kamut, spelt, buckwheat, barley, rye, millet, teff, quinoa, amaranth, sorghum, field corn (not popcorn or sweet corn), dry lentils, dry beans (such as pinto, red, navy and kidney).

Milling of any substance not listed in the paragraph

immediately preceding, voids the warranty.

 Pls Note: As in any granite stone based grinder, the Bran (skin of the grain) does not grind fully.  One can expect 12-15% of bran by weight in the finest grind setting. This can be easily sieved and discarded if not preferred, but we at GRANA strongly advice against it, as it contains fiber and a lot of whole grain goodness.
